Welcome to AppStoreBest.com. We started this site because of our frustration with the unfair App Store application review process. Every day unscrupulous app developers go on and write negative reviews of their competitors’ apps. We therefore decided that a benevolent dictatorship is in order where we tell you about our opinion of iPhone apps. Our reviews here are of course our own opinion, but we try to be as impartial as possible, and will never tell you an application is great if we think otherwise.
In addition to providing our own ratings and reviews, we allow site visitors to lay down their thoughts about the apps we mention. Therefore, if you are familiar with one of the apps presented here, we encourage you to leave a comment and a rating. However, we make no guarantees as to the accuracy and impartiality of our visitors’ ratings. That’s why those are clearly marked and separated from our “official” AppStoreBest.com ratings.
The ever expanding number of iPhone apps also makes it difficult to find the gems within. We therefore set up a section where we point out what we found to be the most useful and fun apps & games. Check our Favorite Apps section from time to time to discover apps that you are likely to find useful as well.

Our Rating System
Each application is given a rating in 5 categories, which are then averaged to give the overall rating for the app. Those categories are as follows:
- Ease of Use - Quality of the user interface, menu structure, help features, etc.
- Features - Does the app have the necessary features to support the user in his/her goals? Does it have nice “bells & whistles”?
- Graphics/Sound - Quality of the graphics and sound effects.
- Longevity - Will you find the application useful and/or fun for the long run, or will you quickly forget why you even got it?
If You Are an iPhone Developer
If you are an iPhone developer, we’ll be happy to consider your app for review on this site. Please submit a review request on our Submit For Review page, and please make sure you fill in the appropriate field with a valid Apple promo code.
