DropOut is a puzzle game along the same lines lines of Tetris attack. Blocks keep coming down from the top and pile up on the screen. You lose when no more blocks can fit on the board.

To remove blocks you must align 4 or more blocks of the same color, and then they disappear, causing the blocks above them to fall. You do this by sliding left/right the rows which hold the blocks.

The emphasis in this challenging game is on getting a top score.  You get extra points by making combos, or linking star blocks, which must be removed fast, because if they reach the bottom they disappear, and the points they hold are lost forever.

To make things even trickier there are lock blocks that restrict you from moving certain rows. You must match blocks from other lines to remove these blocks, thereby unlocking those rows once more.

This game is lots of fun, and you will want to keep coming back to top your score, which you can even submit online to show off.

The graphics are nothing special but well done for a game of this type. It would be nice to have sound, which perhaps will be there in a future upgrade.

The only gripe so far is that occasionally the game puts up too many lock blocks in rows too close to each other. Then you are stuck because you can not unlock the rows and lose withing a short time.

Overall though, this is a good game to have on your device if you want a quick pick-up and play game.

iDashPad lets you create one click buttons for your frequently used actions, such as dialing a contact, sending an e-mail or text message, or doing a Google search.

Use this application to add speed to the things you do most.  Suppose you call or send an SMS to a certain contact all the time, then make a quick launch button for that. Or if you always like to location search for pizza, then make another quick launch button for that. The possibilities are endless, and this application makes it easy to have the things you do most with your iPhone be literally at the tip of your fingers.

Furthermore, you can also just start typing in the search field, and iDashPad will locate contacts on your device or prompt you to make a new one, let you send an SMS, search Google, and more.  This applications makes your iPhone’s functions and data highly accesible.

The only problem we noticed so far is that once you add an item to your favorites list, you can’t move it around.  If you want to change the order of your list, you are forced to delete and re-add items. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update.

Even with the minor favorites list issue, this application is a must have. The search feature alone makes it worth a spot on the bottom bar of your home screen.

Scuba Scout is a side-scrolling shooter in which you must descend into deep dark waters shooting down mines.

Control is done via buttons on the side (hard to use), or the accelerometer. You can also shoot via clicking on your sub, but be careful because it takes some time for your sub to re-arm itself.

As you go deeeper into the water the screen will darken and you will need to use some of the scattered power-ups to help you see.

This game is a simple quick play game, and gets hard fast. The goal is to score max points, by setting up combos and just shooting as many mines as you can, while not getting hit.

The graphics are OK, as is the sound. It’s not the best game to show off your new device, but is good to be kept on your device when you have a bit of time to waste and want to see how deep you can get.

The waters are dangerous, and it’s your job to clean ‘em up.

The battle of polar bears and penguins has just heated up. Mean polar bears have kidnapped some of your fellow penguins and now you and your other penguin friends must rescue them.

How do you do that, you ask? Well, you catapult yourself and hit the bears from above!

The goal of the game is to hit the polar bears scattered on the many different levels, using only a limited amount of penguins. You first must use a catapult to send your penguins into the air, and then once they are airborn aim for the bears and make them pay.

You must use the terrain (as well as destroy it), to be able to hit all the bears. Also you will gain access to power ups such as fire penguins which go through ice, that will all help you complete your quest.

There are many levels to play, and a world map/quest to keep the story going.

The graphics and sound are well done, as is the amount of playtime this game will give you.

So go out there and rescue your friends, because now penguins can fly!

Sex education done right. iSperm is an interesting game in which you are a sperm and must reach and enter your final goal, the egg, all this while racing against fellow sperm who all have the same goal as you.

How this got past Apple is interesting, but good thing it did. This game is fun, has very good graphics and sound, and an interesting control scheme.

There are three types of stages in this game, each with a different control scheme. In the first stage you must gain as much speed as you can to make your long journey, thus pump your device up/down (yeah get the dirty thoughts out of your head) so your sperm can shoot out of some area as fast as possible.

Then you must navigate via tilting the device avoiding obstacles in your way that can slow you down.

In the final stage, you reach the egg and must tap the screen as fast as possible to enter it.

The game is short, but the better you do the more points you get. Then you can submit them to the online score system and see how you did against other people’s sperm. Did you get into the egg the fastest?

There are also achievements you can go for, so you will want to keep playing until you get them all.

This game is not for the kids, although it is how they came about. But is a great little game to play when you want to help in the magic of child birth. Just don’t play this game in public, as especially in the first stage, people will look at you a bit strangely.

How do you Topple a great game? You make a great sequel! Topple 2 is the sequel to the fun Topple game released some time ago.

Many new things have been added, like a Quest mode, WiFi battle and many new game variations.

The basic game is tower building where you mix Tetris like shapes to build a tower of a certain height before time runs out.

Each shape is placed on top of each other and can be rotated before being placed. You can also use the accelerometer to tilt your device to help the tower stabilize.

The graphics and sound are top-notch and add greatly to an already good game.

To make things even better, there are also lots of achievements that you can strive to get, keeping you playing long after you finish the Quest mode.

The only gripe is that the menu is poorly placed, so many times during game play when trying to rotate a shape, you hit the menu icon and get the pause menu. It’s minor but very annoying.

Even with this slight problem this game is a must-have on each device out there.

So get it and make a great tower that won’t topple!

You are the commander of the drop-ship Sentinel, and must defend a distant colony from the alien hordes in this stunning tower defense game.

This game is very cool, the graphics, the sound, and the insane amount of enemies that attack you.

Aside from shooting, you’ll also have to defend and repair walls to keep the hordes away from your base.

Another neat thing is that you can create drones that mine for money.   And as an added bonus, your unused funds collect interest.

The only gripe is that there are only three level types, more would have been nice. Yes there is endurance mode to help the game last longer, but after the three initial levels you just want more terrain types.

Nevertheless, the three levels that are there are a lot of fun.  In addition, you can show off your scores online via a
online leader-board.

If Blizzard ever made a StarCraft tower defense game, it would probably be just like this.
